Thus is my honest review, I had a good experience with improve easy, when my application was approved by the council, immediately the work started, my hot water tank was changed to a massive one, all my old heaters was removed and replaced with nice and better omes, they fixed the solar pannels and the air source heat pump. The workers proves to me that they are proffessionals, they were able to fix all these within 10 days and to crown it all I didnt pay a penny for it, all is free, and for these great job of Improve easy, am saying a big thank you, will recommend improve easy anytime. Thank you!

1 star is being overly generous! Couldn't mark any lower. I would avoid this company like the plague! The communication is appalling. The 3rd party contractors they used plumed the boiler in backwards and left us without hot water for 3 weeks. fitted solar and a heat pump source system to our house July 25, and we still have problems with a leaking pipe outside, they keep saying they will sort it out but nothing has been sorted yet and we’re in march now. The picture uploaded was taken yesterday 8/3/26

Gheorghe electrician has gone above and beyond to help with the electrical side of having my boiler replaced. Gheorghe even attended the same day I had issues and did not leave until the issue was rectified. Gheorghe has amazing customer service and is very helpful and informative.

Absolutely appalling! 😳After qualifying for eco 4 scheme, I eventually got an install date (after chasing them up about paperwork etc and quite a few nonsense delays ) boiler was installed in one day rather than the suggested two. The Installers, Joe Cleary and son broke the tiles either side of my bath and ripped my bath away from the wall. My bath is now unsuitable to use. I raised this with Jess who said she’d raise this with ‘the remedial team’ and then who promptly went away on annual leave, leaving me guessing, and then made a big thing of saying she would sort this be put once she was back. But this is it -every person you contact at Improveasy makes a big bluster about they will leave messages of chase it up but they never do. I’ve been waiting for ages just for the damaged done to my bath to be repaired and now I have a useless boiler. The boiler now doesn’t work and I’m having to take a day off work to be in all day for another company (Ideal boilers) to fix the boiler 🤷‍♀️ because improve easy engineers actually told me to “switch it on and off again” (🙄) before then handing me into ideal boilers to get it fixed via the warranty. Every time I phone or email it’s like they pay lip service but nothing actually gets done. I phoned their complaints line as nothing was happening and it went to voicemail 🙄😂 so left a message but no one called me back. I feel fobbed off, disappointed, annoyed and like I’ve been taken for a mug. The installer even left a tiny ‘J for joker’ card in the bottom cupboard of the boiler cupboard - I don’t understand this isn’t this abuse or they just really resent their customers with or something? 🤷‍♀️ I’m a teacher and honestly if I acted with this level of professionalism, I would be struck off!.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know you’re properly qualified and certified to install heat pumps?

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).

Can you tell me if a heat pump is actually suitable for my home?

We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.

What type and size of heat pump will you recommend for my property, and why?

We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.

What will the full installation cost be, and what’s included in your quote?

Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Can you help me access government grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.

How much disruption should I expect during installation, and how long does it take?

A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.

Will I need to replace my radiators or upgrade anything else in my home?

After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.

How noisy is the outdoor unit and where will it be installed?

Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.

What warranties, servicing and aftercare do you provide?

You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.

What running costs and savings can I realistically expect compared to my current boiler?

We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
