Extremely disappointed with iHeat. The installation engineers themselves were excellent – professional, polite and did a great job fitting the unit. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. iHeat booked me a morning installation but failed to tell me that this only meant the air conditioning unit would be fitted. Nobody explained that the electrician wouldn’t arrive until hours later, leaving me with a brand-new unit that couldn’t even be switched on or tested. I then had to take additional unpaid time off work, only to be told the electrician couldn’t come until the following day. This wasn’t the fault of the subcontractors – it was entirely down to iHeat’s poor organisation and communication. If multiple trades are required, customers should be told this clearly before booking, not left sitting at home wondering what’s happening. To make matters worse, iHeat refused to compensate me for the financial loss caused by their poor scheduling, despite acknowledging that their communication could have been better. The installers deserve 5 stars. iHeat’s planning, communication and customer service deserve 1 star. I wouldn’t use iHeat again based on this experience.

Aircon quotation/contract bordering on a scam. They may be good for boiler etc but avoid for Aircon. We got an online quote recently, completed all the details and sent the required pictures. It tool over a week for the pictures to be verified depite claims it would take 48 hours. Once verified they then want to do a survey at a cost of £100. Before agreeing to the survey we asked multiple questions including turnaround time etc all answered via whatsapp. We decided to proceed with the survey and paid the £100. Out of the blue a couple of days later an engineer is at our door to do the survery with zero contact to arrange. Luckily we were home and available. Iheat claim they sent an email but never recoeved even though we had recoeved countless emails chasimg up paying for a survey. Survey completed and the engineer confirmed verbally that the property is suitable, the unit size we had decided on was appropriate and that it would be a simple fit. The report was to be semt to Iheat for them to cobfirm and book fitting. The day after I then get a contract delivered by email to accept and pay to be able to book fitting. Randomly though the price had increased by almost £1,500 with no explanation at all. We contacted to ask and over the next few days recieved a variety of reasons from needing a bigger system (wrong), the one we wanted being out of stock, the fit being complicated and were even told they had given us a discount of £200. Funnily enough the lrice the day before this so called discount was £200 lower, they basically kncreased rhe quote by £200 on their system then added a discount. The way their system works is ypu click a link to view a document then of any changes are made at their end it overwrotes so you cant get bavk to previous quotes and contracts. Make sure you download each and every one if you decide to use them or they will try and rip you off. On top of this they pretty much stalk ypu chasing up the business, emails at least once a day, telehone calls and voicemails every day as well. No chance I would recomend them to anyone at all it seems rhey have expanded to do Aircon without the knowledge or experience to actually manage it and are malong it up as they go along. The system has now been fitted to the original specification by a different company who did it on a matter of hours as a very simple straightforward fit and done at the price Iheat had originally quoted with the Wifi controls thrown in for free.

Very poor experience with iHeat. I paid for a quotation, but the engineer, Jordan from Hue Heating & Cooling, failed to attend on two separate occasions. After the second missed appointment, iHeat said they would investigate and call me back with a solution, but I heard nothing for two days and had to chase them myself for a refund. Overall, the service was unprofessional and unreliable. iHeat failed to manage their subcontractor properly and wasted my time. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.
