Great job- James and team, thanks! We have an old barn which made our installation more complex than most, but James and the team at JD Heating handled everything brilliantly. From the outset, James came out to survey the property and designed a genuinely bespoke solution — positioning the heat pump away from the bedrooms with a dedicated trench, and walking us through options for solar panels and batteries. He also arranged for a Stiebel Eltron specialist to inspect the property and advise on exactly equipment for our setup. Communication throughout was excellent. They kept us informed of dates and timelines at every stage of the project, always turned up when they said they would, and there was never any chasing needed. The installation itself was fast, tidy, and carried out by a really friendly team who were happy to explain everything as they went. The batteries have been mounted neatly on the back wall, and they even put solar skirting around the full panel array on the roof — it looks really good. What particularly impressed me was the willingness to go the extra mile: I wanted to run the batteries via Home Assistant on a mini PC, and James worked with me to make sure the right connections were in place to support that. We’re heavy electricity users — hot tub, EVs, and electric heating — so we needed a system that could really perform. JD Heating delivered exactly that. Highly recommended.
