If your working at MCS compliant levels as an installer but you struggle with the paperwork - this is the way forward. Q-Smart is spot on! They are reactive, fast and get the job done. They are succinct when asking for specific paperwork or providing guidance. I’d happily use them again and recommend to anyone who values clear comms and getting things done properly.

As a qualified gas engineer ultimatley being forced into renewables the daunting task of becoming mcs accredited was no simple feat and i had looked into it. I then stumbled across Q-Smart and i was scepticle as it sounded to good to be true, for a fee they take care of all the paperwork leaving me to do the bit i know. After first contact with Remi everything sounded good and he was ALWAYS responsive (within minutes) even when he was moving house there was another member of the team to pick up the slack which was rather important on the day i made contact as i needed a radiator schedule asap, as i was starting the job and it was there in under 30 minutes 😱 all this being said i was obviously still scepticle as they were ultimately going to be paid a sum of my money, which after paperwork had been completed was with me much quicker than i expected, obviously being government backed i was expecting a longer wait ....... moving forward Q-Smart will always deal with my MCS stuff as it just makes sense and they are sorting 2 more for me in the coming weeks....... 100% recommend

How do I know you’re properly qualified and certified to install heat pumps?
We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
Can you tell me if a heat pump is actually suitable for my home?
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
What type and size of heat pump will you recommend for my property, and why?
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
What will the full installation cost be, and what’s included in your quote?
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
