Tell you to report online but then tells you there's an error so you're forced to ring them anyway. Then they come out and tell you that they don't have the right tools and will book a follow on appointment to then never get one. So you go back to square one. Been waiting on a new bath panel since Agust last year. Just tried to report it online and it won't let me tick the declaration. Goes round in circles.

Repairs via Sheffield City Council is a nightmare from start to finish. It takes over an hour to get through to the repairs line. They ask for your name address and DOB, all private information that can be used to identify you, so making calls, in public, is a bit of a no no. If you need to cancel a job, its the same line meaning you also have to wait over an hour (no wonder people likely just don't bother to cancel, making the work load for the council heavier) Staff aren't always the politest, which makes me laugh as they tell callers to be polite to council staff, even when frustrated. You can report some things online. However, it's one job at a time and the system is only set up for a small number of types of jobs forcing you to ring. The repairs themselves are shoddy. The staff are busy. They have a set amount of time for each job and lots of jobs to do. The standard of work can be truly awful, it is almost like they think 'that'll do'. Well it won't 'do'. Take some pride in your work, this is someone else's home. The whole service needs an overhaul. I've had people come in, smash things up and then not even bother to pass it on as needing a follow up. It is incompetence. Sadly, as council tenants, we are held ransom, this is our repairs service.....

Booked a repair for my mom. Her wet room not draining. Explained mom is very deaf house bound and has dementia. Asked if I could have a call 30 minutes before plumber arrived so I could be there to let them in. Yes that's fine. Did that happen NO IT DID NOT. Plumber sent text when he arrived. I got there less than 10 minutes later no card through letter box. I waited 4 hours for plumber. Could not even join queue to query what was happening. DISGUSTING

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
