I've been a customer for many years and have always found Shelford Heating to be very reliable and offering excellent plumbing services. I have used them for boiler service, new radiators and just had an old asbestos cold water tank replaced. Excellent.

Luke and his team of Ian and George have just installed a new boiler system for us. They were considerate and efficient making it as easy as possible for us. They explained how to use the equipment making sure that we understood. They even moved bedroom furniture back for us.

I've been a customer of Shelford for almost 30 years, during which time they have been outstanding in every respect, first when I had an oil boiler and then after they installed a gas boiler. I'm writing a review now following a breakdown in my CH which, given the cold spell, was quite an emergency. They turned out quickly and fixed the problem, at a reasonable price. One great advantage is that they are easy to contact. Just a phone call, to a real person, not a call centre or some online portal or app. Another is continuity of service. The same guys, year after year (which also shows that they retain their staff), who know my system inside out and are always polite, work tidily and give helpful advice. Another is that they only install top quality products from reputable manufacturers. And the back office work of billing etc also works completely efficiently. All in all, a fantastic company.

Asked for a quote for a substantial chunk of work. They sent an engineer to spec out the job a week later, who was very thorough, then absolute radio silence. It's been two months now. They aren't responding to emails, left messages, just completely ghosting. Don't bother with them.

Outstanding workmanship – this company cares about detail. Did an ASHP (air source heat pump) installation for us this year 2023 which works really well, and even the design and layout of all the pipework is a work of art. With multiple follow up visits to tune up the system, and continuous monitoring to find the optimal configuration. Always on time, always attentive to detail, and very clear and upfront on timelines and costs. 10/10 would work with them again.
