The electrician has been cancelled twice after having the boiler fitted and it's left like this. Plus I only found out that he was off sick after I called them twice on the Monday and then again today Thursday. I don't know about you but that hanging wire looks quite dangerous and it's a mess. A terrible company !!

I have had an ongoing going issue with my heating since September 2025. My radiators downstairs do not work.... I have had engineers out multiple time since sept and not one of them has been able or bothered to even try and resolve this issue. They say parts need changing and need to be ordered.... this always seems to take 1/2 weeks before they come back to do this.... they turn up out of scheduled appointment times like you havent got anything better to do than sit in all day.... parts seem to go missing and need to be ordered again.... the fact I am a vulnerable person with serious health issues recovering from major open heart surgery seems to go through one ear and out the other, they simply do not even care... such a poor company that needs to lose all housing contracts and be shut down asap.... office staff are gormless and dont their arse from their elbow. Not one single member of this company have a clue what they are doing nor how customer satisfaction works. One big joke. The owner should be ashamed

Absolute shambles of a company they should go out of business. Today was the third time they were supposed to come to fix something at my mum's house who is elderly and disabled, but nobody has come. She has no hot water and they couldn't care less. I took annual leave for this and kept going told, oh the engineer is running late but someone will definitely come. Guess what? Once again nobody has turned up and now my mother has no hot water. They just keep passing any responsibility and reassure you that someone's coming. I've wasted leave, lost time and money and they are just impossibly rubbish. Avoid at all costs if at all possible I have never dealt with more incompetence.

I have just spent 6 hrs in my car awaiting a phonecall from an Engineer as to an arrival time. The window I was given was from 1200hrs to 1800hrs with a half hr heads-up notification as I needed time to get to property. I parked 1 mile away as the area I've just moved to has very poor reception. 40 mins on hold so pressed 1 for online chat, was informed a Link had been sent....No link sent. Zero notification and zero joy from SureServe staff upon calling them to locate this Engineer. This is the first time I've needed them and hopefully the last. I will find out from my Housing Association whether or not I can get my own professional Certified engineer to carry out any further work my Flat needs. This is atrocious service and the MD ( DG ) needs to get a grip on his Company. A 6hr window is ridiculous.

Worse company EVER!!! Terrible customer service. I wish I could give no stars. Had a new boiler fitted last year, 3 months later started spewing water into my neighbours garden. It took 2 attempts for them to fix it and in the mean time my water bill went sky high. Only in the last few months has my water bill gone down when the boiler started leaking again 2 weeks ago. I called SCS to report it and they sent out an "Engineer" to inspect it and he stated that it was classed as an emergency so ordered the part. Five days later another "Engineer" arrived and stated that the wrong part was ordered? So once again we now had to wait a week with water spewing out! Another "Engineer" arrived yesterday and you guessed it the wrong part was ordered and once again I now have to wait. This is absolutely appalling. I rang to complain and was greeted with the rudest person who had zero customer service skills. This company tried to rename themselves because they are so diabolical but you can't polish a turd. Their Engineers are unqualified and obviously can't identify what parts are needed for the repairs. Both myself and my husband work long 12hr shifts for NHS London Ambulance Service and don't have endless funds to be throwing down the drain because they can't carry out a simple repair. I now continue to wait and see if it ever gets sorted. In the meantime I will be posting on social media. *UPDATE* 2 weeks later and still not fixed. An 'engineer' was supposed to turn up last week Monday, I waited in all day and they never bothered turning up, despite me calling several times and was assured they would. Finally turned up a week later, but you guessed it, they had the wrong part AGAIN!!! Now got to wait until Friday. We have to keep taking time off work or getting family members to wait in for these appointments which is so frustrating and a utter waste of time. Each person that arrives blames the other one for not ordering the right part which is so unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know you’re properly qualified and certified to install heat pumps?

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).

Can you tell me if a heat pump is actually suitable for my home?

We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.

What type and size of heat pump will you recommend for my property, and why?

We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.

What will the full installation cost be, and what’s included in your quote?

Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Can you help me access government grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.

How much disruption should I expect during installation, and how long does it take?

A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.

Will I need to replace my radiators or upgrade anything else in my home?

After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.

How noisy is the outdoor unit and where will it be installed?

Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.

What warranties, servicing and aftercare do you provide?

You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.

What running costs and savings can I realistically expect compared to my current boiler?

We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
