The real test of how good a company is when things go wrong. We have been with Dorset Energy Solutions for over 6 years now and I would not hesitate to recommend them. We had an Air Heat Source Pump installed back in 2020. It was slightly delayed due to Covid. It was a complicated installation as it was a split system with pipes going through awkward places. The pump was a little noisier than we had expected but this was resolved by Amy and Richard helping to resolve the issue. For the next few years we had Jeff come to service the machine. He was always helpful, polite and able to give advice. The unit started to have difficulties after about 4 years and the team tried to resolve the issue by replacing various parts. It was not easy and the problem kept coming back.. not ideal but the team continued to help. The real test was when the unit went out of warranty and Richard took responsibility and persuaded the manufacturer to sort out the problem even though the warranty had expired - Thank you. You would not see this from many other suppliers. The system is working very now and we are delighted. They very much deserve this 5 star review and I would recommend them to others looking for an ASHP.
We went with Dorset Energy Solutions because of their history (and we see their vans all over Dorset). They didn't disappoint. Excellent service and great people to deal with.
Very happy with Dorset Energy Solutions and would highly recommend. Had solar and battery installed by them just under 8 months ago now and haven't had any problems.
Initial contact was for solar panels and batteries quote but unfortunately I went with a slightly cheaper company from further afield who went bust a year later, so I regretted not going local. So last year I went back to Dorset Energy Solutions for a heat pump and radiator installation and have been extremely happy with everything, including after sales and care, which appears to be difficult for most other companies. Amy had all knowledge, the entire installation team were all professional and very pleasant. And when my heat pump had a fluke hiccup this week, they came out immediately to investigate and resolve. I can highly recommend them for everything they do!
