Unfortunately stretching to 1 star for Osbourne Energy. My experience to date - extremely unsatisfactory. From my very first interaction with this organisation, there has been a consistent lack of engagement, urgency, and un-willingness to provide meaningful support. Core issue continues to be misunderstood or deliberately disregarded. Going by reviews (not positive ) cannot believe such a company can continue to operate in this day and age. Obsourne Energy your customer service is extremely weak - maybe it's time for some reflection.

Avoid this company. Dangerous requirements given to me by Lauren Alcock. Very poor service particularly from Lauren Alcock who asked me to risk my familys life by her unreasonable and impossible requirements. She also changed her goalpost requirements and wanted me to further risk my family life. Lauren Alcock also gave incorrect information on CIGA despite hard proof from CIGAs website. Director Raymond Osborne and other senior management staff Emma completely ignored this issue despite contacting them with evidence and giving them a fair opportunity to rectify the problem which they ignored.

Would select 'no stars' for this company if I could. Negligent installation of loft insulation on behalf of British Gas caused damp and mould in the upstairs rooms of our house and the company is unwilling to do anything about it due to the warranty only being for 12 months. Reputable companies would not stuff the insulation into the eaves causing damp problems. Apparently, the eaves should be left clear for ventilation purposes. This was not done (amateurs) and they have absolved themselves of all responsibility due to the fact for the last 10 years we had put all the damp issues down to faulty double glazing (which we are due to replace in the New Year). Only on having the double glazing surveyed this month was the cause of all the issues identified as poorly installed loft insulation. Avoid this company at all costs - they are amateurs and don't know what they're doing. Find a reputable alternative.

A poor experience overall. Osborne Energy were quick to respond to emails and take my initial payment, but extremely slow in achieving anything else. I waited many months after my assessment to hear anything back from them, and I was passed around from person to person whenever I called and given silly excuses as to why things hadn't been done. I wish I knew it before I contacted them, but you can use any green deal assessor, not just what is recommended by your Borough. Find a list of approved assessors on the Department of Energy and Climate Change website.

Unprofessional and inhuman company. They made me sign over my Eco grant 11 month ago and have still not installed a boiler and they are aware I have no heating and hot water for more than 11 month, and they do not respond to formal complaints. Please be advised the government Trustmark logo is no guarantee for decent professional customer service.

We are MCS‑certified and registered with an approved consumer protection/competent person scheme, which is essential for quality assurance and to access grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
We carry out a detailed home assessment, including property type, insulation levels, existing heating system and available outdoor space, to confirm whether a heat pump is a good fit.
We design the system using a heat‑loss calculation for your home, then match the correct kW size and model (for example, air‑source vs ground‑source) so it runs efficiently and reliably.
Our fixed quote clearly lists the heat pump, cylinder, controls, labour, scaffolding (if needed), electrical work and any radiator or pipework upgrades, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Yes, as an MCS installer we can confirm your eligibility, apply for the BUS grant (worth up to £7,500) on your behalf and deduct it directly from your quote.
A typical air‑source heat pump installation takes around 2–5 days, and we’ll agree locations for the indoor and outdoor units, manage any planning considerations and keep you informed each day.
After the heat‑loss survey, we’ll advise if any radiators, pipework, electrics or hot‑water cylinder need upgrading so the system can run efficiently at lower flow temperatures.
Modern heat pumps are designed to be quiet and must meet UK noise regulations; we’ll position the unit to minimise any impact on you and your neighbours and comply with local planning rules.
You’ll get manufacturer warranties on the heat pump plus our workmanship guarantee, and we offer ongoing servicing and support to keep your system performing at its best.
We’ll estimate your likely annual running costs and potential savings based on your current fuel type, insulation level and tariffs, using real‑world performance data rather than lab figures.
